This June, 140 golfers came together at Juniper Hill Golf Course for the 2026 Golf Fights Cancer New England Golf Marathon. Behind them stood an extraordinary community of more than 6,500 donors, committed to supporting their efforts to make a difference in the fight against cancer.
Together, YOU made it possible for Golf Fights Cancer to award more than $850,000 in critical grant funding to 20 Beneficiary Partners working across the entire cancer experience. And the impact of those dollars extends far beyond a number! |

Your generosity is helping people detect cancer earlier, when the opportunity for successful treatment can be greatest. It is advancing innovative research into pediatric and rare, aggressive, and difficult-to-treat cancers, where new discoveries and better treatment options are urgently needed.
For patients and families navigating treatment today, your support is helping to remove financial barriers and ease the everyday burdens that accompany a cancer diagnosis, providing assistance with necessities such as food, transportation, housing, and other critical needs.
It is also creating opportunities for patients and families to step away from cancer, even if only for a little while, to make memories together, experience joy and reconnect as a family outside of hospital rooms, appointments and treatment schedules.
And when the focus of care changes, this community continues to be there, supporting palliative care, bereavement resources, and programs that help families navigate grief and loss. The 2026 Golf Marathon community is making a tangible difference at virtually every point in the cancer experience. |

That is the power of 140 golfers and thousands of people rallying behind them.
To every golfer who played 100 holes, every donor who made a gift, and every person who helped make the 2026 Golf Marathon possible: THANK YOU!!! Your collective generosity is providing help where it is needed today, while creating hope for what may be possible tomorrow. |

SPECIAL IMPACT UPDATE: Team Dan visits The Center for Neuro-Oncology at DFCI |
|

|
Before heading back to school, several members of Team Dan had a special opportunity to visit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and meet with Dr. Gilbert Youssef to learn firsthand about the glioblastoma research their fundraising is helping make possible.
Through this year’s Golf Marathon, Team Dan’s 16 junior golfers raised $65,000 in memory of Dan Warn, supporting innovative research at Dana-Farber’s Center for Neuro-Oncology and continuing a powerful legacy of hope and impact.
During the visit, Dr. Youssef shared insights into the unique challenges of treating glioblastoma, the progress his team is making, and the promising work underway to identify more effective treatment options, and ultimately a cure, for this highly aggressive brain cancer.
For these young golfers, it was a meaningful opportunity to see the direct connection between every hole played and every donation received and the research their efforts are helping to advance. It was an unforgettable day, and a powerful reminder that the impact of the Golf Marathon extends far beyond the golf course. |
