spotlighting OUR HEROES
john fee
Taking his commitment as a GFC Ambassador seriously, John Fee proudly displays the GFC logo everywhere he goes. As a cancer survivor, John channels his experience and kindness to help others impacted by prostate cancer. One of GFC’s top peer-to-peer fundraisers, John has raised over $33,000 as a participant in the GFC Golf Marathon.
Stacey iofredo
One year ago, Stacey Iofredo was preparing to run the 2025 Boston Marathon with Team GFC. After experiencing a medical emergency that required heart surgery, Stacey’s plans were unfortunately put on hold. What might have derailed most marathon dreams only deepened her resolve! She’s back as the leader of our 2026 Boston Marathon team, running to honor her dad, a cancer survivor.
ari marcus
If we had a GFC ‘Rookie of the Year,’ Ari Marcus would be our nominee. Playing in his first JAX Golf Marathon, Ari raised both awareness and funding as a next-generation leader. Inspired to get involved after the recent loss of his father to pancreatic cancer, Ari harnessed his love of the game and shared his personal experience with the disease to raise over $5,000 while playing 100 holes in one day.
